Vistar in Whitestown, IN is seeking a 1st shift Warehouse Lead to oversee the warehouse crew, ensure safe operations, and support shipping/receiving. The role requires leadership, reliability, and the ability to work in a multi-temperature environment.

You will mentor staff, enforce safety policies, and contribute to on-time delivery of goods in a fast-paced distribution setting, with competitive benefits and room for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of warehouse/distribution experience.
• Able to work scheduled times and overtime.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (dry/cooler/freezer).
• Stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse crew and provide guidance under supervisor.
• Maintain warehouse work areas and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Assist with shipping/receiving and ensure timely product flow.
• Provide backup support to warehouse management.
• Perform general housekeeping and complete paperwork at shift end.
