Job summary

Green Rabbit, part of Vistar under Performance Food Group, seeks a 1st shift Warehouse Lead in Whitestown, IN to oversee warehouse crew and ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role focuses on directing daily activities, maintaining production flow, and meeting safety and quality standards. Previous warehouse supervision and multi-temperature environment experience preferred; strong communication skills required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years in warehouse or distribution environment.
• Able to work scheduled times and overtime.
• Able to work in a multi-temperature environment (dry, cooler, freezer).
• Able to lift 10-35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and ensure work area is safe.
• Obtain daily work schedule and production paperwork.
• Wear required PPE and safety gear.
• Perform forklift safety checks and daily inspections.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Provide backup support to warehouse management.
• Handle shipping, receiving, put-away/replenishment, returns, and related duties.
• Document work and complete necessary paperwork.
