Family Dollar Here is seeking a 1st shift General Warehouse team member in Front Royal, VA to support Bulk operations by processing damages and maintaining a smooth workflow.

The role runs Monday–Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Duties include housekeeping, handling damaged merchandise, breaking down master cases, ensuring barcodes scan correctly, and operating PIT equipment safely. No prior experience required; physical ability to lift up to 50–80 lbs is needed.

Qualifications

• Education: None required.
• Experience: None required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally 80 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensures work areas are stocked for the next shift to minimize downtime.
• Performs housekeeping duties throughout the shift.
• Removes and processes damaged merchandise and returns stray cases to the correct pick slots to assist Order Fillers in maintaining quality standards.
• Breaks down master cases in FDS pack and loads cardboard in required time frame.
• Flips cases so that the barcode is showing properly before being scanned to improve sorter efficiency.
• Completes daily PIT checklist to ensure equipment is working properly and reports any defect to management and/or maintenance.
• Operates PIT equipment in a safe manner.
• Follows set safety procedures and guidelines to maximize personal safety.
• Maintains an organized work area and promotes a safe working environment within the Bulk department.
