Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a General Warehouse Associate in Morehead, Kentucky to join our fast-paced distribution center. You will perform receiving, packing, loading, and shipping duties while ensuring accuracy and product integrity.

We offer competitive pay starting at $17.75 per hour, a $2.00 shift differential on 3rd shift, monthly bonuses, an attractive benefits package including PTO, medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k). This role is full-time at 1000 Industry Rd, Morehead, KY 40351.

Qualifications

• Work safely and efficiently handling freight and inventory.
• Ensure accurate processing, packing, loading and shipping.
• Check merchandise for accuracy and damage.
• Unload trailers by hand and with pallet jacks.
• Assist in receiving duties.
• Assist in other warehouse duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process orders, pack, load and ship shipments.
• Verify shipment accuracy and condition of goods.
• Unload trailers using hand tools and pallet jacks as needed.
• Assist in receiving and inbound inspections.
• Support other warehouse tasks as required.

Job description

Branch out with a warehouse career at Family Dollar! We are looking for industrial athletes to join our amazing warehouse team! As a General Warehouse Associate, you’ll get to make a difference in a fast-paced distribution center.

Current Shifts include: 1st Shift Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (five 8-hour shifts) 3rd Shift Monday-Thursday 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM (four 10-hour shifts)

Qualification/Basic Job Requirements:

• Work safely, quickly and efficiently handing freight and inventory throughout the warehouse
• Ensure accurate processing, packing, loading and shipping of freight
• Check merchandise to ensure that shipment is accurate and merchandise is not damaged.
• Unload trailers by hand and with pallet jacks and other equipment as needed
• Assist in various receiving duties
• Assist in other general warehouse duties on an as needed basis
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. frequently
• Ability to stand, walk, lift and load boxes 8+ hours
• Team players
• At least 1yr of previous warehouse experience
