Job summary

Family Dollar Services LLC in Front Royal, VA is seeking a dedicated team member for a 2nd shift (Mon–Thu, 10 hours). You will assist in picking and signing out store orders, verifying batches, and ensuring correct merchandise is labeled and placed for efficient scanning.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lb repeatedly and up to 80 lb occasionally, working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse, and adhering to safety protocols. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous Wholesale/Distribution Center experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Work overtime, weekends and/or holidays as needed.
• Non climate controlled warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Selects correct batch by signing out orders and verifying batch numbers.
• Focuses on labels to locate correct merchandise for stores.
• Ensures labels are placed properly for scanning.
• Meets daily/weekly/monthly productivity standards.
• Communicates shorts, damages, jams to the Sign Out Clerk.
• Handles damaged merchandise per procedures.
• Completes daily PIT checklist and reports defects.
• Operates PIT equipment safely.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a clean area.
• Follows all company policies; performs other duties as assigned.
