Job summary

OSRAM SYLVANIA INC., Wilmington, USA, is seeking a Technician for 1st shift to operate and maintain high-speed lamp making equipment. You will lead daily operations, train staff, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2–5 years of related mechanical experience, and ability to work overtime or weekends. Competitive benefits and a supportive team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years minimum related mechanical and technical experience.
• Willingness to attend training or formal classes/certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Works independently with limited supervision leading daily operations of teams or groups, or as a higher-level technical resource.
• Maintains production requirements, provides training, and directs process improvements, as well as optimization of processes and equipment to improve efficiency, output and performance.
• Monitors operation and maintenance of assigned high-speed lamp making equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• Develops process, maintenance and equipment improvement strategies with Maintenance Foreman, Engineers and Management for continuous improvements.
• Fosters team excellence by supporting Managers, Supervisors, Engineers and hourly production associates.
