Job summary

Ams Osram is seeking a 1st Shift Technician to independently lead daily operations and support continuous improvements in our automotive lamps production. You will monitor high‑speed equipment, ensure production targets, and collaborate across maintenance, engineering, and management teams to address issues and optimize performance.

We value hands‑on technical skills, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• 2–5 years of related mechanical/technical experience.
• Willingness to attend training or formal classes.
• Excellent communication with all levels of staff.
• Capable of fulfilling physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor high‑speed lamp making equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain production requirements, provide training, and drive process improvements.
• Support maintenance and engineering in equipment optimization.
• Keep production, quality, SPC, and maintenance records.
• Collaborate with managers, foreman, supervisors, and hourly staff to address needs.
