Job summary

You will coach, train, and engage team members, manage staffing to meet production goals, and collaborate across shifts to maintain performance. This role operates on a 4:30am–3:30pm schedule with overtime as needed, offering growth opportunities within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Ability to train and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Effectively lead the assigned Production Line team in safety, quality, and cost
• Be a safety champion and address issues with safety immediately
• Evaluate and coordinate training needs and efforts of production team members for current processes, including quality and safety training
• Evaluate daily staffing needs against the production schedule to maximize output within budgeted resources
• Coach and monitor performance and provide feedback through appraisals
• Lead daily team meetings
• Complete daily performance reports and shift paperwork
• Effectively communicate information to members and coaches
• Lead process improvement initiatives on the line
• Spend time on other shifts for training when required
