Johnsonville in Watertown, WI is seeking a Team Leader for our manufacturing line. The role pays $30.87–$37.01 per hour and runs Monday–Friday, 4:30am–3:30pm, with overtime as production demands.

You will lead, motivate, and engage the team to meet safety, quality, and cost goals while fostering continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has at least two years of leadership experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across shifts.

Qualifications

• Two years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead by example and involve others in decision-making.
• Willingness to travel to other facilities to learn processes.
• Spanish language is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production line team in safety, quality, and cost.
• Serve as safety champion and address safety issues promptly.
• Coordinate training needs for current processes including quality and safety.
• Manage staffing to align with production schedule and budget.
• Coach and monitor team performance, document results, and conduct appraisals.
• Lead daily team meetings and complete shift reports.
• Communicate information effectively to team members and coaches.
• Drive process improvement initiatives on the line.
• Be flexible to work other shifts for training as needed.
