Job summary

iWorkforce Solutions is seeking a Precision Machine Operator / Fabrication Specialist in Illinois to setup, operate, and maintain stone fabrication equipment. You will use pneumatic and manual tools to shape and finish slabs, while ensuring exact dimensions and high-quality results.

The role requires strong measurement skills, safety compliance, and the ability to work with forklifts or overhead cranes as needed. First shift, full-time with temp-to-hire after 180 days.

Qualifications

• Experience operating industrial machinery or CNC equipment.
• Experience with manual machining tools and hand tools.
• Ability to read measurement templates and ensure precision dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Operate power and pneumatic hand tools to fabricate edges, sides, radii, angles, and sink cutouts on stone slabs.
• Set up, run, monitor, and adjust production machinery; perform light maintenance.
• Inspect finished workpieces with tape measures/calipers to verify dimensions per specs.
• Safely handle materials with carts, cranes, or forklifts and track pieces on control sheets.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with PPE requirements.
