Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking a Shipping & Receiving associate in Oconomowoc, WI. The role is 1st shift on-site, with a wage of $20.00-$24.00 per hour and a 6:00am-2:00pm (or 5:00am-3:00pm during busy season) schedule.

You will enter and verify data, coordinate shipments, handle material movement, and support inventory accuracy while following safety procedures. This position is an associate-to-hire opportunity with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Warehouse or manufacturing experience required.
• Experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control or material handling.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Proficient computer skills including Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP Business One).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and possibly 100 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Enter, review, and verify information using computer systems.
• Coordinate pickups and deliveries with trucking companies and customers.
• Locate, pick, pack, stage, and move materials using material-handling equipment.
• Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain organized storage areas and inventory accuracy.
• Perform cycle counts and document inventory records.
• Assist training of new employees and provide feedback to Warehouse Manager.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
