Job summary

K&S Manufacturing Ixonia, Wisconsin, United States is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate for the 2nd shift. Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, packing, labeling, and shipping materials with accuracy and safety.

The position offers a $1.50 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift and requires 3–4 weeks of training on the first shift (6am–3pm) before transitioning to 2nd shift hours. 2–5 years shipping/receiving experience and proficiency with Excel, Word, and shipping software

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Experience with scanning, packing, labeling, and shipping products.
• Experience using Excel, Word, and shipping software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment physical.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, scan, and process incoming materials, supplies, equipment, and return goods.
• Prepare, pack, label, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Verify quantities, part numbers, dimensions, and other shipping requirements.
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records, including weights, charges, damages, and discrepancies.
• Process advance shipping notices (ASN) and coordinate shipments.
• Load and unload trucks safely.
• Organize and route materials to storage, manufacturing, or outside processing locations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.
