The position requires reading and following detailed instructions, basic computer and Excel skills, and the ability to operate forklifts or pallet jacks when needed. Candidates with experience in mail management software and printing industry background are

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Basic computer and Excel knowledge required.
Experience with BCC Software/Mail Manager is a plus.
Forklift certification desired.
Experience in the printing industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assembles specified number of items and cartons for each addressee as indicated by instructions.
Attaches shipping information and instructions onto packages.
Provides shipping logs and reports.
Processes outgoing shipments into computerized shipping systems.
Communicates with the Shipping Manager about the company’s needs and requirements.
Creates and ensures the accuracy of packing slips.
Performs routine quality control functions on print and postal report files created to ensure that specifications are correct and items are shipped on time.
Safely operates lift trucks or other material handling equipment and pallet jacks to move, convey or hoist shipments.
Perform other duties as assigned.
