Job summary

FORMA-FAB METALS, INC in Mebane, NC is hiring a General Laborer to remove parts from sheet metal after laser cutting, sort scrap, and move finished parts using a pallet jack. This full-time position runs Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM–4:30 PM with overtime as needed.

You should have a high school diploma or GED, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, strong attention to detail, reliable attendance, and be willing to work overtime. Some sheet metal experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Remove (shake/punch out) metal parts from sheet metal after laser cutting.
• Sort and dispose of scrap metal properly.
• Load finished parts onto pallets and transport materials using a pallet jack.
• Occasionally operate power tools such as grinders.
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow safety procedures and wear the provided PPE.
• Work closely with team members to keep production moving efficiently.
• Assist in other areas as needed.
