Job summary

Forma-Fab Metals in Mebane, NC seeks a dependable Paint Shop Helper to support daily powder coating operations. You will move pallets, prep parts, and ensure a clean, safe result throughout the coating process.

Must have a high school diploma or GED and be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work overtime as needed. Prior sheet metal experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Background working with sheet metal preferred.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Maintain excellent attendance; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Use pallet jack to move pallets of metal parts near the work area.
• Hang and plug material parts prior to powder coating.
• Ensure items are prepped and cleaned before coating.
• Unplug items after coating and drying.
• Keep the area clean and organized.
• Provide strong attention to detail and focus on tasks.
• Collaborate with team to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulations.
• Assist in other areas as needed.
