Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Screw Maintenance Technician (1st Shift) to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, including Acme and Davenport screw machines. The role requires interpreting blueprints, performing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of related experience and must be trained in LOTO. The position involves supporting setup and training of others, with a focus on safety and adherence to ISO

Qualifications

• Two to four years related maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Must be trained in LOTO safety procedures and able to read machine drawings and blueprints.
• Basic reading, writing and mathematical functions required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment and screw machines to manufacture specifications.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems and diagnose root causes.
• Read blueprints to identify needed parts and assemblies.
• Perform repairs such as replacing worn shafts, gears and belts.
• Assist setup and operators to resolve part changeover issues and material defects.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Assist in training other staff.
