Job summary

Taher, Inc. in Plymouth, MN is hiring a utility worker for day hours with no nights and no weekends. You will wash, scrub, and store dishes, sweep and mop floors, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

You must follow directions, meet safety standards, and pass a background check. This regular, full‑time role offers competitive pay and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Follow oral and written directions.
• Be punctual, dependable and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to food safety requirements and guidelines.
• Self-starter capable of working independently.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans and utensils as required.
• Sweep and mop floors and maintain clean work areas.
• Wash tables, walls, coolers and trash receptacles as needed.
• Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash.
• Transfer supplies between storage and work areas and keep station clean.
• Assist other team members and be punctual.

Essential Functions

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required either by hand or with dish machine
• Sweep and mop floors
• Wash tables walls, coolers, trash receptacles, etc., as required
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas Maintain clean work environment
• Assists other team members as needed
• Be on time
• Maintain assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition
• Maitain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code
• Other tasks as assigned by the leadership team
