Job summary

SEKISUI Aerospace in Sumner, WA seeks an experienced Production Supervisor for the first shift. You will guide daily production activities, manage schedules, and drive productivity while ensuring quality and cost targets are met.

Leverage lean methods and Kaizen knowledge to reduce waste, coordinate with engineering and logistics, and lead a team through training and performance development. This role requires strong leadership and a proactive, safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of supervision experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and Kaizen events preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of production area to meet volume, cost and quality goals.
• Coordinate staffing, schedules, and production sequences for productivity.
• Identify production issues and provide reports for improvement.
• Lead team with training, coaching and disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Collaborate with logistics, engineering and other departments for smooth operations.
• Maintain time and production records; manage daily scheduling.
• Promote flow of information to customers and internal teams.
• Implement 5S and visual aids to reduce waste and variations.
