Spherion Mid Ohio is seeking Production Operators in Ashland, OH for a hands-on manufacturing role starting at $22+ per hour. This is a physical job requiring use of grinders and power tools, with a 1st shift from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM and a path to permanent placement after 400 hours.

Qualifications

• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Mechanically inclined with comfort working hands-on.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist and perform repetitive physical work on a 10-hour shift.
• Ability to lift and lower up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with grinders, power tools, and hand tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Use grinders and power tools to finish manufactured metal components.
• Remove excess material and prep parts to specifications.
• Perform physical material handling throughout production.
• Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy.
• Use hand tools as required.
• Lift and position materials up to 50 lbs.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Collaborate with team to keep production moving.
