Job summary

SEEK Careers/Staffing, a Sussex-based staffing firm, is seeking a Production Machine Operator to load/unload metal materials, align parts, and inspect quality on 1st shift. The role emphasizes safety, accurate counting, and efficient operation of stamping and laser cutting equipment.

Starting pay ranges $17–$21/hour with full-time, temp-to-hire opportunities. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, and 401(k). HS diploma required and 1+ year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Exceptional attention to detail and mechanical aptitude are must haves.
• Team player and able to work in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload metal material into machine bed.
• Position, align, and secure material against fixtures or stops.
• Evaluate part quality using check aids and/or visual inspection.
• Ensure proper tagging of finished parts for correct routing and counts.
• Keep accurate part and scrap counts, record on data collection system at end of job or shift.
• Follow safety rules and ISO requirements.
• Maintain a clean work area and perform other duties as needed.
