Job summary

Smithers-Oasis is seeking a Manufacturing Production Worker for 1st shift at the Kent, OH location. You will operate machinery, assemble products, and support quality control to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, add and subtract.
• Prefer minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Follows detailed instructions but exercises judgment on alternatives.
• Safety-focused and able to work with bending/stooping and standing.

Responsibilities

• Operates assigned machinery and follows safe operating procedures.
• Assembles, fabricates and packages products under guidance of Leader or Production Manager.
• Inspects, labels and sorts products to meet quality standards and notifies issues.
• Maintains production pace to meet daily schedules and keeps area clean.
