Job summary

Ascentek is seeking a Production Machine Operator on the 1st shift in Shreveport, LA to mass produce bottles and sub-assemblies. The role involves following ticket instructions, gathering materials, setting up lines, producing samples for QA, labeling, packing, and loading pallets while maintaining accuracy and safety.

The position requires 1 year of production line and forklift experience, strong English reading comprehension, and the ability to troubleshoot on the line.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related production line experience and forklift operator experience.
• Good command of English and ability to read, communicate and understand written instructions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems on the production line as they occur.
• Understanding of KPMs and manufacturing packaging line processes.
• Lean Principles understanding.

Responsibilities

• Perform bottle-filling assemblies and sub-assembly machine processes.
• Follow Production Work Ticket instructions for production.
• Gather raw materials, set up production line, and produce samples for quality inspection.
• Produce and pack products, label, and load onto pallets after inspection approval.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness, report defects to supervisor.
