Job summary

Ascentek in Shreveport, LA is hiring a production worker for the 1st shift to operate filling, labeling, and packaging equipment, follow detailed work orders, and help drives daily production goals in a fast-paced environment.

No prior experience is required; on-the-job training is provided. You must be able to lift up to 70 lbs, stand long hours, and work safely with PPE. Overtime may be required; you will join a team committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Familiarity with quality and safety procedures.
• Basic math for production measurements.

Responsibilities

• Follow work orders to produce and package products.
• Operate filling, sub-assembly, labeling equipment safely.
• Gather materials, set up line, produce quality samples.
• Fill, label, pack, and palletize products after quality approval.
• Report defects or safety issues to supervisor.
• Maintain clean work areas and follow safety procedures.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines.
• Meet daily schedules and priorities.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment; report maintenance needs.
