Job summary

Ascentek, Inc. is seeking a Production Machine Operator on the first shift in Shreveport, LA.

The role involves performing repetitive line production operations to mass produce products, label, pack, and pallet them, while ensuring accurate inventory via a warehouse management system. Qualifications include 1 year of production line and forklift experience, high school diploma or GED, basic math and mechanical aptitude, and strong English reading/comprehension.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related production line experience and forklift operator experience.
• Must have a good command of the English language and the ability to read, communicate, and understand written instructions.
• Basic mathematical abilities and mechanical aptitude.
• Understanding of Lean Principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform bottle-filling assemblies and sub-assembly operations.
• Follow Production Work Ticket instructions for the production of various products.
• Gather raw materials, set up production line, and produce samples for quality inspection.
• Produce and label, pack, and load grouped orders onto pallets after inspection approval.
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor.
• Maintain clean work area and follow safety regulations; perform safety checks.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and perform scheduled maintenance as required.
• Attend monthly departmental and production meetings.
