Job summary

Bosch is seeking a Production Manager in Wichita, KS to oversee all manufacturing operations, drive lean initiatives, and ensure quality and efficiency across teams.

The role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of production planning, and hands-on experience with ERP systems. You will collaborate with multiple departments to meet ambitious production targets while maintaining safety and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 10+ years of experience in manufacturing salary roles.
• 3+ years of production supervision experience or a related role leading in a team environment.
• 5+ years of combined factory experience in Manufacturing (operations), Quality, Engineering, or Production Planning.
• Experience leading cross functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
• Lead and manage production teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Monitor and analyze production metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with supply chain and quality control departments to ensure smooth operations and product quality.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and upgrades to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards in the production environment.
• Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Develop and manage production budgets, controlling costs while meeting production targets.
• Coordinate with other departments to align production goals with overall business objectives.
