Job summary

Bosch in Wichita, Kansas is seeking a Production Supervisor to guide a manufacturing team and ensure efficient operations.

You will supervise, train, and evaluate staff, coordinate work flow, manage costs, and respond to delays, shortages, or equipment issues. You’ll work with engineering to improve processes using LEAN tools like VSM and 5S, while maintaining safety and accurate records. Weekend overtime may be required to support production needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in manufacturing, or an associate degree with 6+ years.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Willing to work weekend overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct workflow in the department; assign tasks and resolve questions.
• Control costs within budget; minimize scrap and rework.
• Anticipate delays, material shortages, and equipment issues.
• Provide technical support for equipment malfunctions and repairs.
• Collaborate with engineering on cost reductions and scheduling.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate the work group; assist safety actions.
• Maintain accurate production and employee records.
• Apply LEAN tools (VSM, SMED, 5S, TPM, Kaizen) to improve drivers.
