Job summary

Swire Coca-Cola in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Production Maintenance Technician on the first shift. You will repair and maintain production assets, identify and fix equipment issues, and perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment life.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification within 1 month, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Weekend/holiday work may be required, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must become forklift certified within 1 month of hire.
• Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs on production equipment in between shifts and line changes so that variations in product quality don’t occur.
• Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance to prolong the useful life of equipment.
• Prior to production changes this employee performs equipment change-overs and production line set-ups to prepare for production.
• Overhaul and install new equipment on to machines as directed by the business.
• Rebuild, fabricate and manage parts inventory to ensure an adequate inventory.
• Attend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and events.
• Performs other duties as assigned
