Job summary

Swire Coca-Cola is seeking a Fleet Technician in Tempe, AZ. This full-time role focuses on maintenance, diagnostics and repair of medium to heavy-duty diesel trucks and trailers to keep our fleet safe and on the road.

The position requires a high school diploma and 2–4 years of diesel truck experience, with own tools. Scheduling is 2nd shift (12:30pm–9:00pm) and pay is $31.50 per hour, with opportunities for growth and company benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED) required.
• 2-4 years diagnostic, maintenance and repair of Class 7 & 8 diesel trucks and trailers required.
• Own set of tools and understanding the best practice for how to use required tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.
• Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests.
• Keep equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules.
• Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub‑assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
