Job summary

JBS Foods is seeking a Production Lead for 1st shift. The role oversees hourly team members, ensures safety, quality, and efficiency, and drives attainment of production targets on the floor.

Responsibilities include coordinating with multiple departments, mentoring staff, enforcing GMP standards, and maintaining high sanitation and productivity levels in a cold, wet food processing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• GMP and HACCP familiarity; SQF, GMP, HACCP certification a plus.
• Must motivate a diverse workforce and lead by example; coach, train, and take corrective action as needed.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving mentality.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite; English reading/writing required.
• Good math skills and clear written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of hourly members to achieve targets safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate activities with production, procurement, maintenance, warehouse, and quality to sustain results.
• Support policy adherence; train team on rules, regulations, and duties; monitor GMP compliance.
