Job summary

dormakaba Americas is looking for a First Shift Plater Operator in Indianapolis, IN (6:00 AM–2:30 PM). You will gather racks, parts and supplies to perform racking/un-racking tasks and rack parts before plating to meet production goals.

You’ll then un-rack, clean, inspect and count parts coming out of the plater, and operate conveyors along with other equipment as needed. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and basic computer proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Lean skills and manufacturing familiarity are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather racks, parts and supplies to perform racking/un-racking.
• Rack parts prior to plating according to production goals.
• Un-rack, clean, inspect, and count parts after plating.
• Operate conveyor and other equipment as required.
• Follow work instructions and SOPs.
