Job summary

dormakaba International Holding AG is seeking a First Shift (6:00AM-2:30PM) Plater Operator based in Indianapolis, IN. The Plater Racker will gather racks, parts, and supplies to perform racking and un-racking duties and ensure accurate handling of parts through plating processes.

Responsibilities include rack preparation before plating, un-racking and inspecting finished parts, operating conveyors, and adhering to SOPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Physical requirements: able to stand and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Gather proper racks, parts, and supplies to perform racking/un-racking responsibilities.
• Rack parts prior to plating according to production goals.
• Un-rack, clean, inspect, and count parts coming out of plater.
• Operate conveyor & other equipment as required.
• Follow work instructions/standard operating procedures (SOP).
