Stanley Black & Decker in East Longmeadow, MA is seeking an operator to manage coil loading, tagging, and marking processes on a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00am to 3:30pm. The role emphasizes precision in measuring with micrometers, reading specifications, and ensuring quality during automated operations.

Responsibilities include loading materials, maintaining inventory, performing routine machine servicing, and ensuring a safe, efficient workflow while meeting production targets.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of charts, specifications, and micrometers.
• 1-2 years experience preferred.
• Light physical effort required; lifting 5–40 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Assure matching of material to coil identification tag.
• Load coils onto feed table using overhead hoist and position through entry slot.
• Ensure proper positioning of limit switch and close door; operate machine.
• Inspect take up table and blade cleaning; tie processed rolls and tag correctly.
• Maintain computer inventory by entering data.
• Set up and operate printing units to mark blades as required.
• Install stamp and adjust ink reservoir; monitor marking and blade alignment.
• Inspect for quality and proper marking; perform routine maintenance on machines.
• Use hand tools to replace worn components; clean debris and tighten as needed.
• Detect and report unsafe equipment and unusual situations.
