Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is hiring for a 1st Shift Milling Operator in East Longmeadow, MA. The role involves setting up and operating CNC milling machines to grind teeth on carbon steel and bi-metal backing coil material.

You will ensure tight tolerances and maintain equipment while supporting a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of milling experience, knowledge of micrometers, and strong numerical skills.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant milling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of charts, specifications, and micrometers.
• Ability to use numbers including decimals.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate automated milling/CNC milling machines to mill teeth on carbon steel and bi-metal backing coil material.
• Exacting setups to close tolerances; replace cutters after grind.
• Maintain equipment and keep a clean, safe work area; report defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
