Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in California is seeking an Outbound Warehouse Manager to oversee multiple critical operations and lead a team toward peak performance.

You will coordinate with customers, vendors and internal staff to meet commitments and uphold quality standards. The role requires at least four years of relevant experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office and scanning tools, and a flexible schedule including occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and scanner equipment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including overtime, weekends.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers, vendors and team members to ensure customer commitments are met.
• Demonstrate an understanding of GXO’s quality policies; establish procedures for maintaining quality objectives.
• Provide guidance to supervisors with respect to personnel, quality and safety.
• Hire, train, develop and appraise staff effectively.
• Partner with Quality to ensure compliance with company standards, investigate root causes, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse operations.
• Make recommendations on programs to improve operations.
• Handle equipment and coordinate all maintenance needs with the maintenance team.
• Ensure records are maintained appropriately and reports are completed in a timely manner.
• Adhere to and enforce all safe work practices, ensuring the warehouse is compliant with OSHA and other pertinent standards/regulations
