Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Assembler for our Ocala, FL production site. The role involves light assembly of medical chairs on a first-shift, fully onsite line, using hand tools and following detailed instructions to support high-quality output.

The successful candidate will read basic blueprints, follow directions, and learn evolving processes while maintaining safety and cleanliness. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with competitive hourly pay and benefits where eligible.

Qualifications

• This role requires 1+ year of manufacturing or assembly experience in a production environment.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to use tools and components.
• Experience with assembly work and hand tools to build parts.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions accurately in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to read basic blueprints or assembly drawings.
• Background in general labor, construction, or similar hands-on work.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work extended hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform light assembly of medical chairs on a production line according to procedures.
• Use hand tools to assemble parts safely and effectively.
• Read and interpret blueprints or diagrams to ensure accurate construction.
• Follow supervisor directions to meet production goals and quality standards.
• Learn new assembly tasks as processes evolve on the job.
• Inspect components for defects and adjust as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area for safety and efficiency.
• Handle materials to keep the line supplied and running smoothly.
• Collaborate with team members to complete daily targets.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and facility rules while operating tools.
