Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is hiring onsite in the US for machining and assembly roles focused on precision deburring, laser marking, and inspection readiness. You will read and follow technical drawings, set up equipment, and support production through accurate documentation and quality control.

A strong math foundation and basic CAD reading help ensure dimensional accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent, or 4 years of relevant experience.
• Basic math skills including decimals.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use multiple applications (email, internet, etc.).
• Experience reading, interpreting, and following blueprints is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools to remove burrs and sharp edges.
• Set up and run laser marking machines.
• Assemble components.
• Read, interpret and follow prints and quality standards.
• Monitor tolerances and identify non-conforming features.
• Maintain shop documentation and records.
• Identify and report process inefficiencies and machine issues.
• Follow priorities to meet production goals.
• Handle coolants, oils, and chemicals safely.
• Obtain and maintain required inspection certifications.
• Additional duties as assigned.
