Job summary

Eaton is hiring a Material Handler for the 1st shift at the Emerald Road facility in Greenwood, SC. The position runs Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour, subject to experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities include receiving, storing, and distributing materials to support efficient production flow. Candidates should have manufacturing experience and forklift certification, plus familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated forklift operation experience or certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tasks.

Responsibilities

• Move materials within the plant using forklift to replenish stock.
• Identify and label material; perform daily cycle counts and bin checks.
• Maintain inventory records and complete required documentation (inventory spreadsheet, Kanban, etc.).
• Assist with quality checks on incoming material and staging of rejected items.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow 5S practices.
