Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is seeking a Backroom Material Handler Technician I -2nd Shift in Greenwood, SC. The role pays $18.11 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential. Core hours are Mon-Thu, 3:00 pm–1:00 am, with eligibility for a variable incentive program.

The position involves receiving and issuing materials, data-entry support, and assisting planners with material availability. You will also prepare materials for boxing, packing, and shipping while maintaining safety and quality

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• No relocation benefits; candidates within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC preferred.
• Eaton does not sponsor visa applications for this position.

Responsibilities

• Receive and issue raw materials, assemblies, sub-assemblies, tools, and supplies.
• Forward required documentation to data entry; support material‑availability processes.
• Prepare finished products and raw materials for boxing, packing, and shipping as needed.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and material movement records.
• Identify nonconforming materials and support root-cause analysis and process improvement.
