Job summary

New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Inc. (NHBB) HiTech Division is seeking a 1st shift supervisor to provide leadership and oversight to the grind lines and highbay areas. You will develop KPIs, analyze data to identify root causes, and coach a team to meet production, quality, and safety goals. The role requires building professional relationships across levels, driving continuous improvement, coordinating with other departments, and supporting planning for personnel, equipment and materials.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to drive a safety culture and improve production metrics.
• Strong coaching and performance management skills.

Responsibilities

• Convey goals and expectations clearly to the assigned team.
• Coach employees to meet daily, weekly, monthly production, quality and safety goals.
• Drive safety culture and ensure equipment is maintained for safe operations.
• Establish and review key metrics to assess team performance.
• Oversee shift staffing, scheduling, and training.
• Write and conduct performance reviews with HR in partnership.
