Job summary

New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Inc. (NHBB) in New Hampshire seeks an Unit Manager - Manufacturing on 1st shift to lead a production team, drive KPIs, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will coach supervisors, plan resources, and report to senior leadership on performance and continuous improvement.

You will build a culture of teamwork, develop leaders, and partner with HR on staffing and policy execution while maintaining a focus on process optimization and customer priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Business, Production Management, or Engineering
• 10+ years leadership experience in manufacturing
• Past experience with ERP system

Responsibilities

• Set goals and coach team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production, quality, and safety targets
• Plan machines, equipment, and product flow based on priorities and resources
• Oversee shift staffing, scheduling, task assignment, attendance and performance management
• Promote safety culture and ensure safe working conditions and hazard reporting
• Establish and review metrics; mentor leaders to improve results and drive continuous improvement
• Foster collaboration for clear communication on product flow and status updates
• Support programs, strategy rollout, and improvement initiatives as part of leadership team
