Job summary

New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Inc. HiTech Division seeks a 2nd shift supervisor to lead grind lines and highbay areas. You will develop KPIs, analyze data to identify root causes, and partner with leadership to drive performance.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in manufacturing leadership, strong coaching and communication skills, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement. This role reports to the NHBB HiTech leadership team and supports strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a manufacturing setting required; minimum 5 years.
• Associate's degree in business, production management, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proven ability to coach, train, and develop staff.
• Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Convey goals and expectations clearly to assigned team.
• Provide coaching to meet daily, weekly, monthly production, quality, and safety goals.
• Promote safety culture and ensure equipment is maintained for safe operations.
• Establish and review metrics to assess team performance.
• Collaborate with departments for clear, timely communication.
• Drive continuous improvement and implement solutions with stakeholders.
• Assist planning for personnel, machines, and supplies.
• Oversee shift staffing, scheduling, attendance, and training.
• Conduct formal performance reviews with HR partnership.
• Support rollout of new strategies and improvements.
