Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for the Eastlake, OH facility. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, perform preventive maintenance, and support robotic/PLC-controlled equipment.

The role requires independent work, strong diagnostic skills, and a focus on equipment uptime. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in industrial maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, and familiarity with welding and mechanical repairs.

Qualifications

5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
PLC troubleshooting experience required.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
Experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Technician, Millwright, Electrician, or similar skilled trade preferred.
Vacuum furnace maintenance experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery.
Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective solutions.
Support robotic and PLC-controlled equipment, including light programming modifications.
Perform welding, pipe fitting, soldering, and general mechanical repairs.
Assist with facility maintenance projects and equipment installations.
Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts as needed.
Partner with Operations and Engineering to maximize equipment uptime.
Follow all safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards.
