Veritas Steel in Eau Claire, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 1st shift to inspect, repair, and maintain heavy equipment and machinery used in bridge fabrication.

The role offers hourly pay ranging from $28.52 to $38.52, with overtime, a strong benefits package, and safety-focused work environment. Shift is 5:00am–4:20pm Monday through Thursday, with opportunities for growth and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of maintenance and repair experience on industrial equipment.
• Experience with welding equipment, cranes, forklifts and other heavy machinery.
• Strong electrical knowledge.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain equipment and machinery to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
• Communicate with other departments to ensure equipment is running efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
• Continuously improve maintenance processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
