Job summary

Cascades in Eau Claire is seeking a Journeyman Maintenance Technician to support on-the-floor operations, keeping equipment healthy and production moving. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, and install machinery safely, conduct preventive maintenance, and document work in our CMMS system.

You’ll need a Journeyman Millwright/Mechanic certificate, a high school diploma or GED, and experience in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Millwright/Mechanic certificate required.
• Extensive experience in manufacturing/industrial environments preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills across motors, conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and safety protocols.
• Ability to work with standard operating procedures and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and install equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform preventive maintenance per manuals and specs.
• Develop procedures to improve machine operation and troubleshooting.
• Adhere to LOTO and safety protocols.
• Operate machinery and equipment including conveyors and forklifts.
• Use CMMS to complete work orders, track hours, and report issues.
