Job summary

Eaton’s ES GDCO DIT division seeks a Maintenance Technician for the Woodridge, IL team. The role covers skilled maintenance, repair, and servicing of a mixed-use facility’s electrical systems on 1st shift (7:00am-3:30pm).

You will troubleshoot motors, controls, fire alarms, and lighting, perform lock-out/tag-out, and coordinate with operations and office staff while following safety and NEC standards. Company benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in health, safety, and environmental regulations (OSHA, NFPA, NEC).
• Valid IL driver's license with clean record.
• 1+ year in electrical/facility/maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, or groundskeeping.
• 1+ year using hand and power tools and maintenance equipment.
• 1+ year using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily maintenance tasks.
• Serve as emergency response coordinator on 1st shift.
• Lock-out/tag-out to deenergize equipment safely.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical distribution systems and controls.
• Install and service equipment including drills, conveyors, and lighting controls.
• Ensure emergency systems are operational and compliant with NEC.
