Job summary

Eaton Corporation’s ES GDCO DIT division in Woodridge, IL seeks a Maintenance Technician for 1st shift (7:00am–3:30pm). The role covers maintenance and repair of facility infrastructure, electrical systems, and equipment in a mixed‑use office/lab/warehouse environment.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, at least 1 year in electrical or facilities maintenance, a valid IL driver’s license, 1 year with hand and power tools, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Must have strong safety awareness and the ability to read and interpret instructions.
• Experience in electrical or facilities maintenance preferred.
• Valid IL driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools in maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance tasks and respond to maintenance requests.
• Serve as the primary maintenance contact on 1st shift.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical distribution systems and associated equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and 5S+ standards.
