Job summary
Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift at Pinckneyville, IL. Core hours are 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., with possible overtime.
The role maintains safe, reliable facility operations, performing preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems, utilities, and equipment, documenting work, and supporting environmental and safety requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of ONE(1) year of facilities and mechanical maintenance experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of ONE(1) year of powered industrial truck or forklift operating experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems, grounds, utilities, and manufacturing-support equipment.
- Complete work orders, document maintenance activities, and support facility-improvement projects.
- Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and technical documentation.
- Operate powered industrial trucks, cranes, hoists, and related equipment when trained and authorized.
- Perform welding, fabrication, rigging, and metal repair work to maintain equipment and facility assets.
- Participate in safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance activities.
