Tyson Foods plant in the United States seeks a Maintenance Coordinator to lead a team of 15 technicians, oversee preventive maintenance, and minimize downtime while ensuring SQF and GMP compliance.

You will partner with the Maintenance Manager to implement policies, train staff, diagnose electrical and mechanical problems, and promote a safety‑first culture on site; relocation assistance available and 1st shift responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or certificate; or 5+ years in a food manufacturing maintenance role.
• Experience leading a team of 15 technicians.
• Knowledge of PLC, SAP, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train a staff of 15 maintenance technicians.
• Monitor and reduce machine downtime.
• Diagnose basic electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing and PLC problems and direct/assist repairs.
• Promote a ‘Safety First’ culture amongst staff.
• Develop and maintain an effective preventive maintenance program for equipment and plant.
