Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, is seeking a 1st Shift Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team at our Napoleon, OH facility. The role focuses on safe, efficient maintenance of all machine and facility systems and requires strong supervision and planning skills.

You will coordinate daily tasks, manage safety compliance, and drive preventive maintenance programs while supporting weekend and shift coverage. A Forklift/Crane certification or ability to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Forklift and Crane Certification or ability to obtain is required.
• Welding skills preferred.
• Experience with electrical and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and communicates daily maintenance tasks.
• Reviews compliance to planned work orders and reports status to management.
• Maintains maintenance data, including records and spare parts inventory.
• Ensures spare parts lists are available and equipment is compatible with upgrades.
• Maintains contact with production staff to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• Develops standardized maintenance techniques and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Plans and schedules preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Addresses safety concerns and enforces safety regulations for maintenance staff.
• Oversees contractors and ensures adherence to safety and operations procedures.
• Responds to weekend calls and organizes weekly schedules for time off and coverage.
• Maintains attendance and payroll data.
