Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Machine Operator I for the 1st shift (6am - 2:30pm, Mon-Fri) to produce parts in a timely manner. Responsibilities include setting up and operating machines, reading BOMs and blueprints, and coordinating with the Cell Lead to resolve discrepancies. The role requires basic computer use and English communication.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge and familiar with Excel.
  • Read and understand blueprints/drawings.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Communicate effectively. Ability to Read, Write and Speak English.
  • Knowledge of various types of equipment such as Air and power tools.

Responsibilities

  • Produce products in a timely and efficient manner for the customers.
  • Set up and operate machines and assemble parts as directed by Cell Lead.
  • Read and understand bill of materials and blueprints of drawings.
  • Communicate with Cell Lead on discrepancies on drawing or BOM.
  • Work with Quality to inspect during production and verify customer specs and standards.
  • Operate air and power tools as needed to aid manufacturing.
  • Maintain productivity to meet or exceed standards.
  • Follow safety rules and use safe procedures.
  • Keep tools and supplies in their place; keep the area clean.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
